How AI uses are counted, when free allowances reset, and how purchased uses expire.

What counts as one use?

Extract

One photo or one text source, up to 6,000 characters, uses one unit. A batch is counted per source.

Translate

Translate one record into one target language: one further use. Fifty single-recipe photos plus one translation each normally require 100 uses.

Review & export

Edit, scale, convert supported units, preview, print or download PDF without using AI units. Reuse an unchanged saved result without another AI call.

Free allowance

Verified accounts: five free uses on the first UTC day, then two daily. Resets at 00:00 UTC; no rollover.

AI readings and translations can contain errors. Check ingredients, quantities, temperatures, allergens and instructions against the source before kitchen use. Multi-component recipes and uncertain handwriting require extra review. Mass/volume conversion requires a suitable density; regional units need the correct definition.
