Your material and your records
You retain rights to your notes and resulting records. Submit only material you are entitled to process. Do not upload confidential personal information that is unnecessary for a recipe, or request unlawful use of other people’s material.
Software and limits
Kitchen Notes extracts and organises the source, supports review, deterministic recipe scaling and supported unit conversion, translation and PDF output. It is not an approval of food safety, dietary suitability or source accuracy. It does not supply missing recipe facts or a cloud-synchronised recipe library. Supported output languages are Chinese, English, Mexican Spanish and French; accuracy is not guaranteed for every source or language.
Accounts and free use
When account sign-in is available, verify your email. A new account has five free uses in total on its first UTC calendar day, including eligible anonymous uses already taken on the same browser that day; later UTC days have two. Allowances reset at 00:00 UTC and do not accumulate. Accounts cannot be shared to evade limits. Attempt, network and service-cost limits also apply.
One-time purchases
When checkout is available, 50 uses cost USD4.99 and 100 uses cost USD7.99 before applicable tax. The final amount appears at checkout. There is no automatic renewal. Each purchase lasts 12 calendar months from confirmed payment, with the earliest-expiring balance used first. Available daily free uses are spent before purchased uses. Uses are a non-transferable entitlement to this software, not a monetary wallet, gift card or withdrawable balance.
Processing and failures
One source extraction uses one unit; translating one record into one target language uses another. Valid results with uncertainty still need review. Units are reserved when processing starts and returned if the service fails or cannot provide readable kitchen content. Reusing a saved unchanged result is free. Rate and cost protection still applies to attempts; stopping a batch prevents unstarted tasks, but does not undo an already delivered result.
Payments and refunds
ChefsLanding sells these software packs; PayPal processes payment and is not the merchant of record. Uses arrive only after our server verifies completed payment. Returning from checkout alone does not confirm payment. Our 14-day money-back guarantee applies. Confirmed refunds remove the corresponding remaining entitlement; downloaded PDFs remain yours. Mandatory consumer rights are unaffected.
Availability and closure
Keep a local backup of notes and original photos. We may pause processing for maintenance or service failure; unused purchased entitlement is not consumed by a failed request. If we permanently discontinue paid processing before your purchased uses expire, contact support for resolution of unused entitlement. Material breaches may restrict an account; statutory rights remain.
Separate services
Kitchen Notes packs do not include China Desk consulting, manual recipe proofreading, introductions, catering, restaurant bookings, community access or payments to third-party chefs. Those activities are not purchased through this checkout.
